This month we have two main talk around handling high volume of data. elastic.co will be presenting their Elastic Stack followed by Donald to explain how to deal with challenge of processing high volume of data.

20:00 Practical Handling for High Data Volume Processing
Let’s talk about some real world bottle necks in processing extremely high volumes (opinion) of data, and why some approaches were considered over others. The talk is aimed around how things got from A to Z, and why, using easy to implement solutions without too much complexity. No algorithms or patterns, just a casual look at some cases and how we got from a few hundred records a day to billions and the various redesigns in its evolution. No product pitch or complex topics, just showing why processing data doesn’t need to seem insurmountable.
